Audit-grade evidence for snow & ice operators

When the claim lands, you’ll have the receipts.

SlipCheck captures every service with hashed evidence, frozen-in-time weather screenshots from weather.gc.ca, and audit-grade PDFs your insurance carrier will actually accept — built for the moment a slip-and-fall claim lands on your desk.

How the evidence chain works

Capture, seal, defend.

Three steps that turn a service visit into a record an adjuster can’t plausibly dispute.

01
Capture

Crew taps through the field flow. Each action — arrival, photo, weather pull, checklist tick — writes a hashed event signing the one before it.

02
Seal

When the session is certified, the chain locks. Corrections from here on become amendments with their own audit trail. Nothing edits silently.

03
Defend

When a claim hits, download one ZIP. The manifest’s SHA-256 proves nothing was touched after lock — what’s in the PDF is what was captured on site.

What you ship with

Boring details, load-bearing impact.

Each line below is a specific decision SlipCheck makes for you so the record holds up when someone reads it back six months later.

Hashed event chain

Every field action signs the last. Tampering doesn’t just trip an alarm — it breaks the chain visibly.

Time-locked weather

weather.gc.ca SWOB observations pulled at the exact minute of service. Source URL printed under the block.

S3 Object Lock photos

Bytes can’t be edited or deleted inside retention. Not by us. Not by you. Photos sit in legal-hold storage.

Snapshotted checklists

The compliance items active at session time travel with the record. New library this season doesn’t rewrite last winter.

Amendments, not edits

Field-level corrections after lock are versioned with timestamps and reason codes. Both old and new values live in the report.

Manager dispatch board

Assign sites, watch crew status live, bulk-reassign weather events. Replaces the spreadsheet, not just the paper log.

The proof artifact

What’s in every report

One PDF and one ZIP per session. The PDF is what the adjuster reads. The ZIP is what survives forensic scrutiny.

Identifiable header

Company, site, address, employee name + ID, service window. Page 1 establishes who, where, and when before anything else.

Snapshotted checklist

The compliance list active at the moment of service — not whatever’s current today. Per-season libraries with required vs. optional flagging.

Time-locked weather

weather.gc.ca SWOB observation pinned at capture: temperature, conditions, wind, precipitation, station ID. The full source URL is printed under the block.

GPS evidence

Site coordinates, employee location at start, and a breadcrumb count for the session window. Reverse-geocoded to a human address so the adjuster doesn’t have to.

Photo manifest

Each photo links to an S3 Object Lock URL with its SHA-256 in the manifest. Bytes can’t be edited or deleted inside retention — not by us, not by you.

Sealed timeline

Every action — arrival, photo, weather pull, certification, lock — is a hashed event signing the one before it. Tampering breaks the chain visibly.

The shift

From “I think we serviced it” to “here’s the chain.”

Most slip-and-fall defenses fail not on the work, but on the record of the work. SlipCheck changes what that record looks like.

Before SlipCheck
Paper checklists, texted photos, voicemail timestamps.
Weather is whatever someone remembers. Or what the lawyer’s expert says.
Photos live on someone’s phone until they don’t.
When a claim hits eighteen months later, you rebuild from scratch.
Adjuster questions what was done and when. You can’t prove either.
With SlipCheck
Field flow signs each action into a hashed chain. No reconstruction.
weather.gc.ca observation pinned at capture, with the source URL printed.
Photos sit in S3 Object Lock. Bytes can’t be edited or deleted.
Eighteen months later, you download one ZIP. Manifest verifies the chain.
Adjuster sees the report. The question stops being whether you can prove it.
From the founder

Built from the claims that didn’t have to hurt.

I kept seeing the same thing: contractors who did the work — on time, by the book — and still lost the slip-and-fall claim because the record was a pile of texts and memory. SlipCheck is the system I wish they’d had: every visit sealed into proof an adjuster can’t wave away. We’re early, pricing is founder-rate, and we’re shaping it alongside the operators using it.

Why this pricing? SlipCheck is in its founder phase. The $99/month rate is an early-supporter rate while we shape the product alongside the operators using it. Pricing may change as we add capacity and features; current subscribers will get at least 30 days’ notice before any increase, and you can cancel anytime before it applies.
